What the site does not ask for
Still Eight currently has no account system, payment service, newsletter form, comment area, or user upload. The application code does not include advertising pixels or an analytics service.
Please do not try to send personal or health information through the website because there is no secure submission channel for it.
Practice records on this device
When you complete a sequence, the Practice tool stores a short record in your browser’s local storage under the key still-eight-practice-records. Each record contains the completion date and time, the selected pace label, and the planned sequence duration in seconds. Up to 12 recent records are kept.
This information stays in that browser and is not uploaded by the application. You can remove it by clearing site data in your browser. Clearing browser data, using private browsing, or changing device may remove the history.
Cookies and similar technology
The current application code does not set cookies and does not use a cookie consent platform. Local storage is used only for the practice history described above.
A future hosting provider, content delivery network, security service, or analytics tool could change this position. Those services have not been selected. Cookie and browser-storage behaviour must be tested again on the final staging environment before publication.
Server and security logs
No public hosting service has been connected yet. Once deployed, the hosting platform, reverse proxy, and security systems may process ordinary request data such as IP address, user-agent, requested path, response status, timestamp, and security events.
The provider, hosting location, retention period, access controls, and any subprocessors are publication details still to be completed. They will be added here after the staging architecture is confirmed.

Still Eight links to independent health, standards, cultural, and research websites. When you follow one of those links, the destination receives ordinary connection data and applies its own privacy terms. Still Eight does not control those sites.
Your choices and questions
You can use the reading pages without creating an account. You can prevent or remove the practice history through browser settings. A privacy contact, operator identity, applicable jurisdiction, rights-request process, and effective date will be supplied before launch.
Until that contact is published, this draft should not be treated as a complete public privacy notice.
