Access for more people
Accessibility Statement
Still Eight aims to make calm, culturally careful wellbeing information usable across devices, input methods, and a range of access needs.
Operator identity, legal contact, jurisdiction, and effective date will be completed before public launch. This page is currently excluded from search indexing.
Measures in place
- A skip link, semantic headings, labelled navigation, visible keyboard focus, and keyboard controls for the Practice timer.
- Responsive layouts with readable type sizes and controls designed for touch.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and clear labels identifying abstract, non-instructional figures.
- Reduced-motion support and restrained animation.
- Colour and contrast checks as part of local browser testing.
Current limitations
The movement figures are decorative or abstract placeholders and cannot communicate correct technique. No instructional video is published. Movement drafts require professional review before they can be treated as teaching material.
Full-screen behaviour varies by browser and device. Some linked third-party resources, including PDFs, are outside our control and may not meet the same accessibility standard.
Testing approach
The release process includes keyboard, mobile viewport, browser, loading-error, and automated accessibility checks. Automated checks do not replace testing with assistive technologies or feedback from disabled users; that broader review remains an important launch and post-launch task.
Feedback and assistance
If something prevents you from reading or using Still Eight, we want to offer the information in a workable alternative format and learn from the problem.
An accessibility feedback email, response target, operator identity, and statement date will be added before publication.
