Before you practise
Health and Safety Disclaimer
Still Eight is an educational website, not a clinical service or a substitute for instruction suited to your body and circumstances.
Operator identity, legal contact, jurisdiction, and effective date will be completed before public launch. This page is currently excluded from search indexing.
Educational information only
Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, or an individualized exercise prescription. General discussion of wellbeing or research does not establish that a practice is safe or effective for you.
Current movement material
The eight movement pages are editorial drafts awaiting professional movement review. Their abstract figures and media placeholders do not demonstrate joint position, weight transfer, range, timing, or breathing. Do not use them as your sole source for learning technique.
The Practice timer
The Practice tool displays the traditional order and allocates time for movements already learned from a reviewed source. It does not observe you, assess form, adapt to your condition, or confirm that you are moving safely.
Stop and seek help
Move within a comfortable range and do not force a stretch, stance, breath, or balance challenge. Stop if you experience pain, dizziness, faintness, unusual shortness of breath, chest discomfort, palpitations, new weakness, loss of balance, or any other concerning symptom.
Seek urgent local medical help for severe or emergency symptoms. This website does not provide emergency support.
When to ask a professional
Consult an appropriately qualified health professional and, where relevant, a qualified movement teacher before starting or modifying practice if you are pregnant, recovering from surgery or injury, have a condition affecting balance, breathing, heart, joints, nerves, or bones, take medication that affects exercise tolerance, or are unsure what is appropriate.
Your circumstances matter
