Editorial learning draft

Move through the shape slowly.

  1. 01

Stand upright with the arms resting naturally by the sides.

  2. 02

Turn the head and upper body only as far as remains comfortable.

  3. 03

Return to the centre before repeating on the other side.

Key posture cues

  • Keep the crown of the head rising gently.
  • Let the shoulders stay low.
  • Use the eyes softly; do not chase a maximum turn.

Common errors to review

  • Forcing the neck at end range.
  • Letting the chin lift sharply.
  • Turning quickly or losing balance.
Safety first

Use a very small range—or omit the turn—if you experience dizziness, neck pain, or balance difficulty.

Stop immediately with pain, dizziness, unusual shortness of breath, palpitations or other concerning symptoms.
